A Message from the Webmaster:
I regret to inform everyone that Reiko-Aylesworth.net is gone and will not be coming back. Reiko's decision to play a lesbian whore in Stargate Universe is the role which has forced me to pull this site as well as delete the blog and forum. I expected this would happen sooner or later, but I expected it to be some role in a D- movie where she got naked and screwed on camera. I am somewhat surprised it was a TV show which caused this, but I guess nothing in this world should really surprise me anymore.
It truly pains me to be forced to shut down this site, but I cannot continue when it forces me to compromise my personal beliefs. Reiko's role on ER was bad enough; it was designed by the writers for no other reason than to offend Christians. This one on SG:U is far, far worse. It was created for no other reason than to score political points with a group who comprises less than 2% of society, a group who my religious conviction will not allow me to approve of, ever. Apparently it was also created as a way for SciFi (I will not use their new, idiot name) to intentionally shove homosexuality in the face of people who do not approve of it. I had hoped Reiko was smart enough to take roles which were designed to be more than a walking piece of, well, let's just say *censored*.
I cannot look away from how offensive I find this role as I did with ER despite the fact that role was written with the expressed purpose of belittling Christians. The agnostic rabbi (isn't that an oxymoron?), who her character was based on, basically admitted this fact. I guess Reiko didn't have much else to do after getting booted from The Forgotten (although that was probably for the best) so she took the first piece of crap which was offered. Maybe she should have learned from her friend Carlos' mistakes.
I will not back down from standing up for my beliefs, despite the childishness of certain people trying their best to flame me across the Internet.
I am truly saddened that it all came to this. Reiko was one of the few modern celebs I really liked and respected; but no longer. I see she is no different than the rest of the morons in Hollywood who enjoy shoving their political and anti-religious message down our throats. I am truly disappointed in Reiko. I thought better of her. All of this makes me sick to no end. I thought better of Reiko than seeing her lowering herself to this level. I feel like it was truly a waste of time and money to fly to Springfield back in 2007. I will always be grateful for how kind Reiko was toward me, but I feel as though I seriously failed in something I am usually good at, judging character.
Maybe I was right in sticking to liking celebs like John Wayne or Jimmy Stewart.
And now, a message to Reiko:
I truly wish I had not had to shut down this site. When I became your fan, I wanted you to have a website run by your fans which would be a way to honor your work. However, I cannot compromise my principles. What you decided to do by joining SG:U as nothing but a piece of lesbian fluff tells me I truly did fail in judging you. I thought you were smart enough to avoid being like the rest of Hollywood and trying to force your perverted values down the rest of society's throats. Obviously I was wrong and the more I learn, the happier I become that I took down this website. It is so obvious that SG:U was written for one reason and that was to promote and glorify homosexuality. When all your little lesbian fans whined about certain episodes, the producers had to run to give interviews to a bunch of homosexual Internet rags to try and placate the whiners.
I decided long ago that the Hollywood establishment was trash, and one reason I was your fan was because you never acted like a part of it. Until now...
So, good job Reiko. You'll gain plenty of idiot fans who are only hoping to see you naked and having sex with a woman. You lost a good number of true ones.
Finally, some other thoughts for no other reason than I know this will cause some to suffer from high blood pressure.
Why must a network try so hard at groveling at the feet of a group which comprises less than 3% of the population? (Please don't even go into the 10% thing; that has long since been discredited. Even the plaintiffs in Lawrence v. Texas admitted in their official Supreme Court briefs that the real number is probably closer to 2%.) SG:U is so worried about offending homosexuals, but if you offended Christians (which you have by the way with the pandering you’re doing and shoving homosexuality down everyone's throats with this show), your response was “just don’t watch” or “that’s just TV.” Of course, Christians are a group which liberals and homosexuals have targeted for destruction for eons, so this is nothing new. Perverts will always get special protection and adoration of Hollywood, while the rest of society is nothing but something to make fun of and ridicule.
The more I learn, the more I know that my decision to kill this website was the right decision. Every single day I believe Reiko is a bigger and bigger fool.
Oh, also, would someone please tell Ming-Na to shut up already? All she can do is spew the standard Hollywood talking points like a good little radical. Grow a brain and learn how to think for yourself.
And now two little notes for jcmb and Nick_Stone22: First, if you don't like what I have to say on IMDB, then I suggest you never mention me again. If you don't, then I won't post in your precious Reiko forum. As long as you keep using it for nothing but flaming, I will not back down. Second, I own this domain for a lot longer than I want to, so until that runs out, I will do with it as I please. Now, if you or anyone else would like to buy it, I will be happy to sell it at the same price I paid, adjusting for how much time is left on the original length of ownership.
To inquire about purchasing this domain, please contact Network Solutions and they will forward the request on to me. Believe me, I would sell it in a heartbeat if someone made a reasonable offer. I would love to wash my hands of it forever.
