I want to welcome everyone to Reiko-Aylesworth.net, a fan site devoted to actress Reiko Aylesworth.  In here you’ll find information about her TV & movie roles, theatre performances, as well as information about Reiko herself.  As this is a fan site, we’re not associated with Reiko or with any organizations which she is or has been affiliated.  Our purpose here is to honor an actress we all love and respect, and to try and let the rest of the world see just how wonderful Reiko really is.

So, browse around and learn about this wonderful actress.

There are several people I want to give credit to for all the help they have given me with this website.  However, there are two, who without their help, this website will still be nothing but a dream.  First and most important is Elise N. who did the majority of the artwork for this site.  Second is Kylie G. who did the remainder of the artwork for this site.  Both of these young ladies are incredibly talented Photoshop artists and without their help, the site could never have been brought online.  Others who deserve to be mentioned are Tihana B. and Amanda H.  Tihana did the graphics at the bottom of the pages on 24.  Amanda has been lucky enough to have seen Reiko onstage, twice, and contributed reviews of these plays, Expats and The Fearless.  Whether their contributions were big or small, everyone who has helped has my thanks and my respect.

Messages to Reiko:

Many of my fellow Reiko fans will probably never have the chance to meet her, as I and several others have been blessed to have, since many of them live overseas.  However, I want all of them to have an opportunity to send Reiko a personal message.

Reiko, I just want to say thank you for the memories from Springfield.  It might sound strange, but getting to meet you and have you talk to me like I was an equal meant more than I can ever express in words on a page.  You’re a wonderful woman, an amazing actress, and I consider myself privileged to have had the chance to meet you.  I wish you great success in all your endeavors and happiness in life. –Webmaster/Eric (Texas)

Reiko, I might very well be your only fan in Norway, and I’m incredibly proud to be just that. I think you’re one of the most talented actresses out there; your performances continue to blow me away, and I wish you the best of luck for your current - and all your future projects.  I can’t wait to see more of you both on the big screen and the little screen. –Elise (Norway)

Reiko, I’m your fan from Croatia; probably your biggest fan in my country. I love your work. I fell in love with the way you act when I saw Season 3 of 24, when I met Michelle and saw the way you made her alive. Michelle and her relationship with Tony became the only reason why I watched 24 and when they removed you, I stopped watching it. She became my favorite character thanks to your performance and I doubt any character will ever replace her. The minute I saw you as her on the screen I wanted to find out more about you. Since then I watched most of your work and I fell in love with each and every one of your characters; you give them all a unique personality one can’t help to fall in love with. When you show up on the screen you steal the scene from everyone else and you make your co-stars seem like better actors because of the incredible chemistry you have with all of them. Each and every one of your scene in everything you've done is simply breathtaking. You’re an amazing actress and you seem like a down to earth person, which is one more thing I like about you. You act like you’re one of the regular people and not like the rest of the “stars” we see. I wish you all the best in your career. I know I’ll be watching everything you do and I’ll always be your fan. –Tihana (Split, Croatia, Europe)

Reiko, you’re a terrific actress, very passionate about what you do, which makes everyone more passionate about your work. You seem to be a wonderful person, and very grounded. I would love it if you continue doing plays in New York; they’re great! Good luck in your career and life. –Amanda H. (New Jersey)

Hi Reiko, I’ve been a fan of your work for just over five years now.  You are a very beautiful and immensely talented actress. Your performances are always wonderfully engaging, due to your talent for showing the most subtle displays of emotion in your characters and how you give each of your characters unique quirks, nuances and mannerisms.  It’s also refreshing to see someone who thinks so carefully about the roles they chose as you do, and as a result, your characters are always strong, complex and realistic women, who are nothing like many of the stereotypical female characters that make up so much of television and movies today. I will continue to follow your career with great interest and wish you the very best of luck in your future acting endeavors. –Barry (UK/Ireland)

I think you’re an amazing actress.  I really admire your style and technique.  I think you bring something new and inspiring to the screen. –Emily (Colorado)

In Memory: During the development of this website, we lost one of our fellow Reiko fans, Roy “Camp” Campbell.  Roy liked to call himself “Reiko’s Oldest Fan, In Age That Is.”  Roy was born in 1929 and passed away on October 2, 2007.  He was one of the biggest supporters of creating this website and I wish he had been able to see it.
